Carmen's Maple Pork and Apples 4 pork loin chops (cut 1/2 inch thick) 2 Tbsp. butter 12 (or more) baby carrots 2 med. apples* sliced and seeds removed (and peel if you want) 1/3 cup of maple syrup 1.Sprinkle chops with salt and pepper, in skillet melt butter over medium heat; add chops, brown for about 3 minutes on both sides turning only once. Reduce heat to med-low, add carrots, apples, and maple syrup. Cover; simmer for about 8 to 10 minutes or until desired doneness. 2.Using a slotted spoon, transfer chops, carrots and apples to a platter; bring syrup mixture to boiling. Boil gently, uncovered 1 to 2 minutes or until thickened. Pour over chops. serves 4 * any type of apple works I've tried several, my favorite is the granny smith ENJOY THIS ONE PAN MEAL.
