Dom’s Disappearing Cookies
1 cup Light Brown Sugar 1 cup Granulated Sugar 1 cup Crisco Shortening 2 Eggs 1 teaspoon Vanilla ------------------------------------------ 1-1/2 cups Sifted Flour 1 teaspoon Soda 1/2 teaspoon Salt ------------------------------------------ 3 cups Uncooked Rolled Oats (Old Fashioned) 1 cup Pecans (broken up into pieces) 1 cup Raisins 6 oz White Chocolate Chips
Heat oven to moderate 350F. Place shortening, sugar, and eggs in mixing bowl, beat thoroughly. Add Vanilla. In a separate bowl, Sift together flour, soda and salt then add to shortening mixture. Mix thoroughly. Then blend in the Oats, Pecans, Raisins and White Chocolate Chips. Drop by teaspoonful's onto a butter greased cookie sheets 2" apart. Bake in preheated oven at 350F for 12 to 15 minutes. Cool for 2 minutes, and then remove from cookie sheet. (makes 4 dozen cookies)
