Pat’s German Chocolate Upside-Down Cake Ingredients: 1cup coconut 1cup chopped pecans 1pkg German Chocolate cake mix (I use Devil's Food cake mix) 1 stick butter 1 (8oz.) package cream cheese 1 lb. confectioners' sugar 1 stick melted butter and coat a 13-inch by 9-inch baking pan Mix coconut and nuts and spread evenly in buttered 13x9 baking pan. Mix cake mix according to package directions. Pour over nut-coconut mixture in pan. In a saucepan, melt butter and cream cheese and heat until warm enough to stir in 1lb box of confectioners' sugar. Pour mixture over above batter and bake at 350 degrees for 35 to 40 minutes. Do not cut cake until cool. Turn upside down after 15 min.
